Body
Item Summary:
The Finish the Connection project is a multi-modal safety improvement to install sidewalks and pedestrian accommodations along Holcomb Bridge Road adjacent to and on the bridge over SR 400. As part of the project, there is an opportunity to re-landscape the median between Dogwood Road and SR 400 and add new trees on both sides of Holcomb Bridge Road between Old Dogwood Road and SR 400.

City staff designed landscape plans that meet both GDOT and Georgia Power requirements. The GDOT approved plans include installing 36 trees (20 Crepe Myrtles and 16 Emerald Knight Grancy Gray Beard trees). The contractor will water the trees for one year until they are established. After that, the City will maintain the right-of-way in the median.
