Item Summary:
The following is draft wording to grandfather existing buildings in the Historic area of Roswell. This proposed wording would be added to the Off-street Parking Reduction section of the Zoning Ordinance.
The reuse of any structure, fifty years in age or older, which is zoned C-1 (Central Commercial District) and located within the Historic District, shall be exempt from off- street parking requirements.
The Committee recommended there be no net loss of off-street parking in the area.
The Historic Preservation Commission discussed this item during their October 14, 2009 meeting.

The Mayor and City Council recommended approval of the first reading of the ordinance during their November 9, 2009 hearing.
