Body
Item Summary:
RFP# 10-348-B was issued and six responses were received. A qualifications-based selection (QBS) process was used to determine the most qualified consultant team to perform the Holcomb Bridge Road Corridor Study. The proposals were evaluated using criteria such as qualifications of the firm, similar project experience, and project understanding and methodology. Arcadis and their sub-consultants (Pond and Edwards-Pittman Environmental) is the most responsive responsible proposer.

The Holcomb Bridge Road Corridor Planning Study scope of work is to develop traffic improvement concepts and create aesthetic enhancement recommendations in the area surrounding the Holcomb Bridge Road and SR 400 interchange. The 1.5 mile study corridor extends from Warsaw Road (western limit) to Holcomb Woods Parkway (eastern limit). The scope also includes incorporating the efforts of the Comprehensive Plan update, the Economic Development RFP and the recently completed Big Creek Bridge Road Study into the Corridor Study alternatives and recommendations. The study will identify both long-term and short-term traffic improvements for the interchange and adjacent intersections. The study will generate consensus on Streetscape and Interchange Beautification/Gateway Concept Plans.
