Item Summary:
The EPA Sustainable Communities Building Blocks Program will be providing technical assistance to local governments on eight tools in the program.  Twenty local governments will be selected to receive assistance on one of the eight tools - 1) Walking Audits, 2) Parking Audits, 3) Sustainable Land Use Code Audits, 4) Smart Growth Zoning Codes for Small Cities and Rural Areas, 5) Commuter Benefits, 6) Using Smart Growth to Produce Fiscal and Economic Health, 7) Complete Streets, and 8) Climate Action Planning.  The City is requesting to apply for 2) Parking Audits Technical Assistance.   
     
The application process is open until February 23, 2011.
