Bid #09-099B was issued and eight bids were received on April 9, 2009 for the Citywide Reconstruction and Resurfacing Project ranging from $1,737,115 to $2,403,151.90. Blount Construction Company, Inc. is the lowest responsive responsible bidder at $1,737,115, based on the bid specifications meeting all requirements.
The total quantities in the bid package will provide roughly 20 center line miles of resurfacing for two-lane roads.

Financial Impact:
