Item Summary:
Invitation to Bid #11-138B was issued and five (5) bids were received ranging from $2,009,497.10 to $2,460,905.20. C.W. Matthews Contracting was the most responsive responsible bidder.
The total quantities in the bid package will provide approximately 20 center line miles of resurfacing for two-lane roads. This scope includes items found in the city's standard paving contracts, such as milling, patching, striping, manhole adjustments, leveling, and traffic control.

On June 29, 2011 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the July 25, 2011 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Funds in the amount of $1,809,050.16 are available in the Project: Citywide Resurfacing and Reconstruction, Cost Center 4210CP, Account #522205, Project #05TRA006 for the award of the contract. Upon approval $7,641.06 will be remaining in the project.
