This action will reallocate four Marshal positions to Police Officer I positions. This reallocation will make all sworn positions at the Police Department Police Officers. This will allow the Police Department greater flexibility when providing security to the Municipal Court.

On December 10, 2013 the Public Safety and Public Works Committee recommended placing this item on the December 23, 2013 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
There is no budgetary impact with the reallocation of the positions.
