Item Summary:
In August 2013, the City accepted HOME funding in the amount of $111,765 as part of its participation in the Georgia Urban County Consortium (GUCC) led by Cobb County. The City must obligate these funds by the end of 2013 for the purpose of preserving and/or increasing the stock of affordable housing. The City has three organizations that are eligible to receive HOME funding including: HomeStretch Housing Initiative of North Fulton, the Housing Authority of the City of Roswell, and North Georgia Community Housing Development Corporation (Habitat for Humanity). The 2013 Recommended Allocation is as follows:

The total grant award of $111,765 was approved and accepted by the Mayor and City Council on August 26, 2013 and are available in Org 22115000 and Project 18004.
