The City recently received the FY2011 Federal Appropriation forms for Senator Chambliss. The following projects will be presented for consideration:
· Historic District Light Fixture Replacement Project: Estimated Cost - $805,000
· Atlanta Street Corridor Improvements: Estimated cost - $20,000,000
· Combat Childhood Obesity and Promote Prevention and Wellness: Estimated cost - $150,000
· Water Rescue, Special Operations, Search and Rescue & Emergency Operations: Estimated cost - $216,570
· Water Supply Intake Rehab Design and Construction: Estimated cost - $500,000
· Big Creek Sub-Basin Rehab: Estimated cost - $500,000- $700,000
· Development of Water Supply Elevated Tank: Estimated cost - $1,000,000
· Fire Hydrant Backflow Program: Estimated cost - $1,000,000
· Economic Development: Estimated cost - $1,000,000

On February 24, 2010 the Community Development & Transportation Committee recommended placing this item on the March 1, 2010 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
If appropriation requests are approved, a local match may be required.
