Item Summary:
The Holcomb Bride Middle School sidewalk project is part of the City of Roswell school connectivity program. The objective of this program is to provide a pedestrian sidewalk facility within ½ mile radius of each school. The scope of this project involves constructing new sidewalk or replacing existing substandard sidewalks on the north side of Holcomb Bridge Road/ SR 140 around a ½ mile radius from the Holcomb Bridge Middle School.  The right-of-way donation is approximately 6,534 square feet.
 
The original plan to build sidewalks on both sides of this corridor is being modified to upgrade the sidewalk on the south side to an eight foot multi-use trail.

On June 23, 2010 the Community Development & Transportation Committee recommended placing this item on the July 12, 2010 Mayor and Council Agenda.
