Georgia EMS District III awarded Roswell Deputy Fire Chief Ricky Burnette this award. Deputy Chief Burnette was honored for his dedication, experience, education and training in the EMS field.
Dennis Lockridge was the State of Georgia EMS District III Chair for many years and brought a new life and standard to the EMS Profession in the State of Georgia. The Dennis Lockridge Pioneer Award was named in honor of his service.
To be considered for the award, the nominee must:
1. Play a role in the conceptualization and development of Georgia's Emergency Medical Services;
2. Play a role in the continued enhancement of Georgia's Emergency Medical Services;
3. Must be involved in the development and expansion of training of Georgia's Emergency Medical Technicians; and
4. Must be involved in the public awareness and support of Emergency Medical Services.
