Item Summary:
On January 24, 2011, the City accepted a donation of 7.259 acres from Heavy Equipment Leasing, Inc. through CEO, Michael E. Mills for a park. A condition of the offer was that the City would consult with Mr. Mills prior to naming the park or facility on the site. Mr. Mills is requesting that the park be named "The Dotsie Garner Mills Park" in memory of his late mother.

On May 25, 2011 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the June 13, 2011 Mayor and Council Agenda.
