Item Summary:
The City has been selected to receive the grant award from the Fulton County Arts Council (FCAC). The County grant and matching funds will be used to cover expenses for professional services, supplies and implementation costs for the “Sundays on the Square” concert series.
The goals of the program are to offer the citizens of Roswell an opportunity to return to Roswell’s Historic Town Square for an outdoor concert series of traditional music to be held on six (6) Sunday afternoons in May and June ’09. The Historic and Cultural Affairs Division expects an attendance of 200 to 500 at each event.
The Historic and Cultural Affairs Division will have from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009 to spend the grant funds. The Division will oversee the project’s implementation, administration and closeout.

Financial Impact:
Budget Amendment 6190G5-03-16-09 will move $10,800 from the Grants Match Fund Contingency and set up grant revenue and expenditures in the amount of $21,600 in Grant Fund 222 Cost Center 6190G5, Project 09GRA008, Sundays on the Square 2009.
