The city's current computer backup system is antiquated and does not provide functionality for current or future technology improvements such as the ERP project. The proposed backup system will allow for complete backup of critical data and servers and provide for redundancy at two locations: RAPSTC and the City of Savannah Data Center. The cost for the system is $82,640 with a recurring annual cost of approximately $24,548.
