Description:
Staff met with senior GDOT personnel to discuss the Citys working concept for the removal of the reversible lanes along SR 9/Atlanta Street. GDOT is anxious to work with the City to improve safety, reduce congestion and support the planned redevelopment of the corridor and appreciates the amount of resources that the City has put towards this concept.
Comments:
In the near future, GDOT will be discussing the Citys concept with their higher level personnel while City staff prepares for a meeting with Congressman Tom Price on September 4th to seek support of administrative modifications to the language granting the original $3M earmark for improvements along SR9 at the Chattahoochee River.
