Item Summary:
The applicant is requesting a variance to the setback requirements for a sign. The applicant moved their sign for the construction on Old Roswell Road and the right-of-way was extended. To put the sign back at 10 feet from the new right-of-way would cause left turn and sight distance problems.
The applicant would like to reduce the setback to one foot. Table 22.18(2) of the Roswell Zoning Ordinance states that the minimum setback from the right-of-way line is 10 feet.
The City has received no negative or positive comments for this application.
