Staff Report:

The applicant is requesting a variance to the number of cars allowed to be parked in a driveway of a home in a single family residential zoning district. Table 17.3.1 of the Roswell Zoning Ordinance states that the maximum permitted parking for any single family detached or attached home is four per unit. The applicant is requesting a variance to allow seven spaces for parking.

 

The applicant has previously been before the Board asking for the same variance under RBZA 07-26. The Board approved the variance for seven vehicles, but only for a period of two years from August 14, 2007 to August 14, 2009. Please see attached minutes.

 

The City has received letters of opposition to this varaince, see attached.
