Staff Report:
Background
The applicant intends to construct a prefab building to house a new product line. The building will be on a vacant area of the applicants current property. The building will not be seen from a public road.
Site Plan Analysis
The applicant will be creating a driveway with a small sparking lot adjacent to the building.
Landscape Plan Analysis
The applicant will be planting trees around the site including: nuttal oak, bald cypress, lacebark elm, greenleaf holly, brodie red cedar, as well as other shrubs.
Elevations
The building will be a pre-engineered painted metal building. The front elevations shows that the building has a large 28 foot tall section in the middle flanked by two 15 foot tall sections on either side. The left side shows roll-up garage style door with a ramp in front. In the center of the front elevation is a door and two small windows. The right portion of the building will be painted concrete block.
The applicant will bring building materials and color samples to the meeting.
Design Guidelines
The site is regulated by the City wide design guidelines.
