Staff Report:
Background
The applicant is requesting to renovate an existing building. They intend to demolish the existing showroom and rebuild a showroom that will fit the current Audi guidelines.
Site Plan Analysis
The new showroom will be 1,840 square feet larger than the existing showroom. The new showroom will be in the same location as the existing and will not affect parking.
Landscape Plan Analysis
The landscape plan shows the addition of Red Sunset, Nuttal Oak and Souix Crape as well as other shrubs and ground coverings.
Elevations
The new showroom will be similar to the existing showroom. The main change is the placement and expansion of glass and windows on the building. The southeast and southwest elevation will mostly consist of glass. The northeast elevation will have a large glass feature with slanted sides and entrance doors. The façade that is not glass will be aluminum paneling that will match the existing building.
The applicant will bring color samples and material boards to the meeting.
