Description:
GDOT is installing 21 traffic monitoring cameras under the RTOP program on Holcomb Bridge Road (SR140) and Crossville Road (SR92). Because of sighting requirements, three of those cameras will have to be installed on Georgia Power poles. Georgia Power requires the City to apply for a permit. The intersections where traffic monitoring cameras will be installed on Georgia Power poles are: 1) Holcomb Bridge Road and Barnwell Road; 2) Holcomb Bridge Road and Dogwood Road; and 3) Crossville Road and Grace Hill Drive (mid-block between Crabapple Road and Woodstock Road.
The permit application has been reviewed by the City Attorney with no recommendations for changes.
