Councilmember Price was contacted by a Roswell resident in February to seek her support to create an opening of a pedestrian gap in the guardrail along Azalea Drive allowing access from his residence to the multi-use trail across the road. After Councilmember Price went to look at the location, she requested an item be placed on the agenda for discussion.
This request has been previously explored by City staff with a recommendation of denial. This is consistent with GDOT's position.
