Staff was requested to review the policy for establishing priorities on waterline replacement. The City utilizes a matrix (spreadsheet) of priority factors which are graded for degree of severity as part of the asset management program.
The priority factors and associated point values have been reviewed and adjusted to incorporate funding availability. Funding availability takes into consideration an applicant's willingness to share in the cost of the improvement or if grant funding opportunities are available to the City.
There is no direct financial impact of this policy adjustment.
