Staff Report:
Background
The applicant is requesting to rebuild their neighborhood clubhouse. An original plan was approved last year by DRB, but the applicant is seeking to make significant revisions to the building; including making it smaller.
Site Plan Analysis
The site plan shows the location of new building in relation to the older structure. No other changes are being made to the site.
Landscape Plan Analysis
The landscape plan show the addition of Sycamore, Red Maple, Bald Cypress, River Birch, Eastern Redbud, Dogwood as well as other shrubs and ground coverings.
Elevations
The clubhouse will be stone veneer for the first floor with siding on the second story. The north elevation will have a large deck and the east elevation will have a chimney.
Design Guidelines
The site is regulated by the Citywide design guidelines.
The applicant will bring color samples and building materials to the meeting.
Recommended Conditions
Staff recommends that this applicant be approved with staff comments.
