Item Summary:
The plan is a cooperation with the Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), the Roswell Business Alliance (RBA), the Cultural Arts Board (CAB) and the City of Roswell regarding space needs for the Roswell Historical Society (RHS) and Cultural Arts Center staff. The RHS is moving from the downstairs area of the CVB to make office space available for the RBA. The renovations plan includes office and storage space for the RHS, the Roswell Archivist and the Cultural Arts Center Manager on the second floor of the CAC. The space previously occupied by the CAC Manager on the main level of the building will be converted to a conference room.

On February 14, 2012 the Administration and Finance and Recreation and Parks Committee recommended placing this Item on the Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Upon approval of Budget Amendment 10015651-03-26-12, $28,000 will be transferred from General Fund Operating Contingency, Org: 10015850, Obj: 579001 to Building Operations: Org 10015651, Obj: 522205. Upon approval, $134,814 will be remaining in Operating Contingency.
