Item Summary:
The AI Action Plan was developed by WFN Consulting and the Grants Division staff in compliance with HUD regulations. The AI identifies impediments to fair housing and outlines potential strategies to address each one. There are three impediment categories identified by the AI: 1) Lack of Available Land Restricting Development of New Affordable Owner-Occupied and Rental Housing; 2) Zoning Restrictions; and 3) Lack of Fair Housing Education, Testing and Enforcement Capacity.

On July 9, 2013 the Administration, Finance Recreation and Parks Committee recommended placing this Item on the July 22, 2013 Mayor and Council Agenda.
