Item Summary:
As part of the approved Memorandum of Agreement with the National Parks Service, the City agreed to facilitate the relocation of the entrance to the National Park on Atlanta Street to a location across from Warm Springs Circle. It will align with a future median break to provide improved access, vehicle turning safety and provide better connectivity between the City of Roswell Historic District and the Historic Allenbrook Old Mill House facility owned by the National Parks Service. The property to be purchased is to provide the driveway and additional parking as part of a trail head adjacent to the National Park boundary.

Funds in the amount of $322,425 are available in the Future Property Acquisition account, Org 35042101, Object 541100, Project 95011. Upon approval, the remaining available funding for future property acquisition is $122,425.
