Item Summary:
Mayor and Council awarded a contract to Blount Construction on June 10, 2013 for Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA) parking lot paving projects throughout the City. This approval is to use the terms of the existing contract with Blount Construction for paving projects at Big Creek and East Roswell parks.
The proposed paving projects include: paving the main park drive of Big Creek Park from the entrance to the back of the park parking lots and East Roswell Park Trail from Fouts Road to Eves to connect with multi- purpose trail.

On July 9, 2013 the Administration, Finance, Recreation and Parks Committee recommended placing this Item on the June 22, 2013 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Funding in the amount of $145,000 is available for paving at Big Creek Park in Org 35062000, Object 541210, Project 60026. Funding in the amount of $107,000 is available for paving at East Roswell Park in Org 35075403, Object 541210, Project 66005.
