Item Summary:
Blount Construction was awarded the contract for the 2013 paving projects for the FCA program in the amount of $277,402.50. Blount Construction has agreed to honor the unit pricing bid in the 2013 award and provide a change order to include the new projects to the original contact. The paving project portion of the FCA includes:
1. Azalea Park Canoe and Raft Rental patching, overlay and re-striping
2. Hembree Park Ballfield Parking seal and re-striping
3. Waller Park repair, patching, overlay and re-striping
4. Waller Park Extension patching, overlay and re-striping

On May 13, 2014 the Administration, Finance, Recreation and Parks Committee recommended placing this Item on the May 28, 2014 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Funding in the amount of $1,188,760 is available in the Citywide Facility Maintenance project in Org 35015651, Object 541300, and Project 10001.
