Invitation to Bid #14-156-C was issued and five (5) bids were received with costs ranging from $120,984.85 to $210,134.99. Summit Construction was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $120,984.85
The project will provide a westbound right turn deceleration lane along Old Alabama Road at the intersection of Old Alabama Road Connector. The project will also add approximately 410 feet of sidewalk along Old Alabama Road between Old Alabama Road Connector and Roxburgh Drive.

On June 25, 2015 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the June 30, 2014 Special Called Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Funds in the amount of $143,912 are available in the Old Alabama/ Old Alabama turn Lane project account, ORG 23042101, OBJ 541415, Project 91013.
