Item Summary:
The Lennar development located on the east side of Frazier Street between Norcross Street and Alpharetta Highway is implementing a Clean Pole Program as part of the development. This program will remove the phone and cable wires from poles on the east side of the street and replace the power poles with taller (55') ones leaving only power wires at the top. Underground utilities will be provided to eight (8) properties on Frazier Street. The city will convert these properties from aerial services to underground services.
Committee or Staff Recommendation:
On June 25, 2014 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the June 30, 2014 Special Called Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Funds in the amount of $24,000 are available to be used in the Street Maintenance Contract Services Account, ORG 10042200, OBJ 521400.
