Item Summary:
The Water Specifications, Section 4 of the City of Roswell's Standard Construction Specifications, 4.4 Water Mains and Fire Hydrants on Private Property and Subdivision Developments, have been updated to comply with Federal and Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) regulations as they apply to private communities served by a master meter. Section 4.4, Water Mains and Fire Hydrants on Private Property and Subdivision Developments, No. 1, was changed to adopt a new policy for private residential communities to obtain a permit from EPD to operate their private water system.
