Item Summary:
RFRQ14-142-C "Standby Painting Contractors" was issued to obtain contractors for projects in the Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA) program. The FCA program contains approximately $500,000 in painting projects for FY15. Four (4) responses were received and reviewed by a Committee representing Building Operations, Fire, and Recreation and Parks to determine their qualifications for providing the services identified in the FCA. The qualified contractors are: 1) A&D Painting; 2) ICS Inc.; 3) Mopac Consolidated Plant & Building Services (MOPAC); and 4) Decorating and Coating Applications LLC (DACA).
Committee or Staff Recommendation:
On July 15, 2014 the Administration, Finance, Recreation and Parks Committee recommended placing this Item on the July 28, 2014 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
$500,000 is approved and available for painting projects in the Citywide Facility Maintenance project in Org 35015651, Object 541300, Project 10001.
