Item Summary:
The City of Roswell entered into a MOA in October, 2008 to participate in the development of a North Fulton Comprehensive Transportation Plan (NFCTP). One of the components of the MOA is the creation of the Stakeholders Committee (SC) by the Policy Committee. The Policy Committee is made up of the five NF Mayors and in Roswell the Mayor and Council will select the members of the SC. The agreement calls for the SC to consist of no more than 40 people and shall include City Council members, citizens, staff and board members of CID's, transit operators, land use planners, chambers of commerce, GDOT, environmental advocates, etc. The total number of appointees from each participating City will be based on population.  The  Stakeholder Committee will consist of 31 people as follows:  Sandy Springs - 6, Roswell - 5, Johns Creek - 4,  Alpharetta - 3, Milton - 2, Mountain Park - 1, Regional (appointed by ARC) - 10.

The first meeting of the Stakeholders Committee is expected to take place in early August in conjunction with the kickoff of the Plan Development Process.
