Item Summary:
The City's first groundwater well building, located at the corner of Willeo Road and Highway 120, will be turned over to the City by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the end of January 2013.  
 
The groundwater well filtration plant is a fitting space to be named after the City's current Water Operations Manager, Mike Leonard, due to his efforts to bring the groundwater exploration program and successful well to fruition.

On January 15, 2013 the Public Safety and Public Works Committee recommended placing this Item on the January 28, 2013 Mayor and Council Agenda.
