Description:

This is an "open container" Ordinance which prohibits the carrying of open alcoholic beverages on public streets, sidewalks and rights-of-way, or in any public or semi-public parking facility within the City of Roswell. On May 3, 2010 Mayor and Council approved the first reading of this Ordinance and on June 7, 2010 it went for approval of the second reading.

Council requested an opinion from Legal regarding the effect of the open container ordinance on "Alive After Five" in conjunction with Road Closure.
