Item Summary:
The Holcomb Bridge Road (SR 140) Westbound Through Lane and Streetscape project will add a third westbound travel lane along Holcomb Bridge Road (SR 140) between Old Alabama Road and the SR 400 northbound on-ramp. The project consists of turn lane and signal upgrades at the intersections of Old Alabama Road and Market Boulevard, new eight-foot sidewalks, pedestrian lighting, and streetscape enhancements. The right of way phase consists of 15 total parcels and construction is expected to begin in Fall 2014. Parcel #9 consists of 1,418.45 SF of ROW and 1,224.39 SF of Temporary Easement.

On July 30, 2014 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the August 11, 2014 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Funds in the amount of $43,341 are approved in the Holcomb Bridge Road/ GA 400 Interchange Improvements Bond Project account ORG 31242101, OBJ 541415, Project 91012.
