Item Summary:
This Resolution establishes a policy for official records of the City of Roswell to be preserved by electronic storage and designation as the official records of the City. The records retention policies followed by the City require physical documents to be archived for various lengths of time. Storage of paper documents uses vital physical space for storage. A policy for digital documents to be the official documents of the City, where digital documents are available can keep archive space held to a minimum.
