Item Summary:
During the design of this project, the regulatory requirements have changed now requiring underwater archeology studies within the Chattahoochee River and Vickery Creek. This work falls outside the original contract with the City's consultant. The consultant's additional fee is $96,553.39 to be split 50/50 between Roswell and Sandy Springs.

Financial Impact:
Upon approval of Budget Amendment 27542200-10-13-14, $49,000 will be appropriated in the Hotel/Motel Tax Fund and will be available in Org 27542200, Object 541415, and Project 92007.
The FY 2015 Approved Hotel/Motel Tax Fund Budget included total Hotel/Motel Tax revenues of $850,000, of which $141,695 (or 16.67%) is restricted for trails. The FY 2015 Budget did not allocate any new funding for trail projects. Therefore, $141,695 is currently available for trail projects. Upon approval of this budget amendment, $92,695 in current year revenues will be available for future trail projects.
