Description:

There has been discussion of developing levels of participation in the Crime Free Housing Program (CFHP). By creating options for different levels of participation in the program the hopes are to have the multi-family communities begin to compete, and increase the overall levels of participation. The goal is to have at least 75% of all communities within the City of Roswell reach the highest tier of participation, which is full certification with the CFHP. To accomplish this, staff proposes a three tier awards program with Gold, Silver, and Bronze designations. Processes will be developed to conduct annual reassessments of each community’s designation and make adjustments accordingly. In addition, signs will be designed and presented to each complex for public display. Certificates of award will be presented to managers and releases made to the media and department website.
