Item Summary:
Renovation of the fountain in Town Square is a component of the Town Square Master Plan. Input has been gathered from a variety of sources through a committee and a charrette group. The final recommendation is an approximate 20 foot granite obelisk to be installed in the center of the fountain in Town Square. The Recreation Commision and the Historic Preservation Commission have approved the obelisk concept.

On July 7, 2009 the Administration and Finance & Recreation and Parks Committee recommended placing this item on the July 20, 2009 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Funding in the amount of $75,786.16 is currently available in Project 07REC001, Cost Center 6110CP and Account 541210. The estimated cost of the fountain is $70,000.
