Item Summary:
The Gold Medal Award honors communities throughout the United States that demonstrate excellence in Park and Recreation Management.  The Gold Medal Award Program includes seven classes: five classes based upon population, one for armed forces and one for state parks.  Roswell is in the class (3) three category representing the 50,000 to 100,000 population.  Roswell was a finalist in the selection process with three other Cities around the United States.  This is the third year in a row that Roswell has been a Gold Medal Award finalist.
