At the July 28th committee meeting, staff was requested to combine the Legal meeting with the Zoning Briefing meeting. Staff suggest that the Legal/Zoning Briefing meetings be held on Thursday twelve days prior to the first Council meeting of the month. This date allows two weekends plus an entire week before the public hearing. Also, this date gives staff and elected officials time to go over any outstanding issues and changes made by the applicant. The proposed times for the meetings would be 8:00 am to 9:00 am and 9:00 am to 10:00 am in the Community Development Conference Room. Staff will use Legistar to go over items on the agenda. Staff recommends the following attendees: Administration: Kay Love (when possible); Legal: David Davidson and Bob Hulsey; Community Development: Alice Wakefield, Clyde Stricklin, and Brad Townsend; and Transportation: Steve Acenbrak or designee.
