Item Summary:
A total of ten (10) CDBG applications were received. The City's total 2013 award from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) was $417,613. The Mayor and Council previously approved $177,587 for the Roswell Housing Authority (RHA) as part of the City's commitment to the Groveway Project. An additional $80,026 has been set aside for Administration and Planning which includes the development of the City's first Analysis to Impediments to Fair Housing Plan (AI). There is currently $160,000 available from the 2013 CDBG award to appropriate. This year's applicants have requested a total of $564,368. These designated projects will serve as the basis of the City's 2013 Annual Action Plan which is due on October 31, 2012. The approved funding for specific projects is needed so these projects can be included in the City of Roswell's Annual Action Plan for CDBG participation.
