Body

Item Summary:

The City is seeking approval for a Transportation Enhancement (TE) Grant from the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). This TE project was originally the Multi-Use Trail Connection at Holcomb Bridge Road project.  The funds have been reallocated to the Roswell Riverwalk Trail Connection - Phase IV project (RRTCPIV).

The estimated costs for the project are $2,450,000.  Federal funds account for $1,960,000 and City matching funds account for $490,000. The revised scope approved by GDOT includes construction of a 12-foot Multi-Use Trail and wooden boardwalk.

The City will be responsible for all professional engineering, right-of-way costs, utility relocation costs and construction costs above any federal award.
