The Model United Nations was created to provide students of all ages with realistic simulations of the actual United Nations and other international bodies. Students act as both delegates from a county to the United Nations and as diplomats to represent their country's point of view.
The Centennial High Model United Nations team competed in 5 competitions this year - Georgia Tech Model United Nations Conference, the Southern United States Model United Nations Conference, the University of Georgia Model United Nations Conference, Harvard University Model United Nations Conference, and the National High School Model United Nations Conference in New York City. The students earned "Honorable Mention" at the Georgia Tech competition and the top award at all of the other competitions.
