Body
Item Summary:
The Arts Village II CDBG project to demolish the Oxbo Apartments has $1,200 in funds remaining after project completion.  These funds must be spent on another CDBG eligible project or returned to Fulton County before March 1, 2012.

Due to the small dollar amount of the funds, the County's Consolidated Plan does not need to be amended to transfer the funds.  Instead, the City must request from Fulton County that these funds be used in an eligible project with City approval.  The City has one open CDBG project for which additional funding is being sought:  the Adult Recreation Center (ARC) Expansion.

Committee or Staff Recommendation:
On January 25, 2012 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the February 13, 2012 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Upon approval $1,200 will be transferred from the Arts Village II Project: Cost Center 7324G1, Account #521400, Project #11GRA008 to the Adult Recreation Center Project: Cost Center 6122G1, Account #541210, Project #12GRA001. Upon approval, funds in the amount of $304,1636 will be available in Project #12GRA001.
