Item Summary:
The FP&S Grant is part of FEMA's Assistance to the Firefighter's Grant program to support projects that enhance the safety of the public and firefighters. The Roswell Fire Department is seeking $52,000 for the purchase of a dedicated vehicle to tow the Fire and Life Safety Center.  The required City match is $13,000 for a total project cost of $65,000.

On March 12, 2013 the Public Safety and Public Works Committee recommended placing this Item on the March 25, 2013 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Grant match funding in the amount of $13,000 is available in Org 10015850, Account 579020, Project 14003.  Allocation of the $13,000 will leave $192,428 in Approved Grant Match funding for future grant opportunities.
