The Special Election is to fill the unexpired term of Municipal Judge. The Special Election is to be held the same time as the General Primary on May 20, 2014. The administrative cost for both the Special Election and the Special Runoff Election (if necessary) is $4,303.20 each for a total of $8,606.40.

Financial Impact:
Funding for the Special Election was not anticipated in the FY 2014 Approved Budget. Upon approval of Budget Amendment 10013300-03-10-14, $8,606.40 will be transferred from the General Fund Operating Contingency, which has a balance of $222,803.17.
