Invitation to Bid #12-293-B was issued and five (5) bids were received ranging from $89,910.50 to $138,000.00. Tri-Scapes was the lowest responsive responsible bidder in the amount of $89,910.50.
The project consists of constructing a deceleration lane on SR 92 for the entrance driveway into Arts Center West at Leita Thompson Park as well as reconfiguring the exit driveway inside the park.

On October 24, 2012 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the November 14, 2012 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Funds in the amount of $80,000 are currently approved and available in the Leita Thompson Turn Lane Project account, ORG 35042200, OBJ 541415, Project 90011. Funds in the amount of $11,000 will be transferred from the Midtown Streetscape project account, ORG 35042200, OBJ 541415, Project 90002.
