Item Summary:
The GPTQ Preconstruction Design Awards recognize transportation projects in the State of Georgia in nine (9) categories.  At the Georgia Transportation Summit, The Historic Gateway project was selected as the winner in the "Context Sensitive Design Including Public Participation Plan" category.  This category evaluated projects on four criteria:  Successfully encouraging public participation, facilitating cooperative input from reviewing agencies, coordinating planning with local interests, and developing solutions to avoid and minimize impacts. This is the third year that the City of Roswell has won a GPTQ Award.
